Called the Mégane E-Tech Electric, the new model is an all-electric five-door crossover that’s set to rival the Volkswagen ID.3. It’s the first production car to make its debut following the announcement of the French firm’s Renaulution electrification strategy, and will go on sale next February. It’s also the first of Renault’s ‘Generation 2.0’ electric vehicles and is based on the brand’s CMF-EV platform, designed specifically for battery-powered models. According to Dacia, the Jogger mixes the practicality of an estate car with the spaciousness of an MPV and the character of an SUV, and with prices to start from around €15,000 – or just under £13,000 – when it goes on sale in November, the Jogger looks set to be the most affordable seven-seater on the market. Like the EQS, the EQE makes use of the EVA2 platform and will be built at the firm’s largest factory in Bremen from mid-2022. The EQE is slightly longer, wider and taller than the E-Class saloon, while its 3,120mm wheelbase is longer than that of the China-only E-Class Long Wheelbase limo. Allied to the aerodynamic four-door coupé shape, the EQE is more in line with the CLS than anything else in the brand’s combustion-engined line-up. It takes plenty of design inspiration…

THIS is the latest Mercedes EQ concept: the EQG, which previews an all-electric version of the brand’s legendary G-Class, slated for arrival in 2024. The angular silhouette retains many of the model’s most distinctive features, such as the indicators mounted on top of the front wings. However, instead of housing a spare wheel, the tailgate’s lockable box is more suited to storing charging cables, says Mercedes. The firm is keen to stress that the EQG will remain an uncompromising off-roader, and as such it’s not built on a pure-electric platform. HERE’s our first glimpse of the EQS SUV – a sister model to the EQS limo – which makes its debut as a Maybach concept. The Concept Mercedes-Maybach EQS showcases the extra-luxurious and sustainable treatments that will feature on the firm’s Maybach derivative. The exterior features an enormous flush front grille, ultra-slim headlights, a Maybach two-tone colour scheme in black and red, and vast 24-inch wheels. Inside, the concept has several features from the latest S-Class, including a pair of ‘first-class suite’ seats in the rear, along with a high-end entertainment system and a ‘vase insert’ in the central tunnel.
