THIS is the new Lexus NX, and while it’s a familiar name with a familiar face, this mid-size SUV comes with a revolution under the skin: it’s the brand’s first plug-in hybrid.
The NX has been a hugely significant model for Lexus since it was launched in 2014. More than 170,000 examples have been sold in Europe so far, and the majority have been to customers new to the brand.
The new model’s styling is an evolution of what’s gone before. There’s Lexus’s familiar front grille, some complex side surfacing, and a new tail-light arrangement with a full-width lighting signature.
