LOOKS are subjective, but the Citroen Berlingo XL is arguably the most stylish of these three MPVs thanks to its sleek headlight design, contrasting body accents and car-park-ding-shrugging Airbumps.
The interior isn’t as impressive as the cabins of Citroen’s more conventional passenger cars – a hazard of the Berlingo’s roots as a van – yet despite this, there’s plenty of tech. The Flair variant tested here has an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav, full smartphone connectivity, DAB radio, cruise control, parking sensors and autonomous emergency braking. However, this list is reflected in the Berlingo XL’s high starting price from new, which filters down to the used market.
