THE Mitsubishi brand is to disappear from British showrooms, after the firm announced it was abandoning any plans to develop new cars for the UK and Europe.
A brief statement from the Japanese company last week said that the board of directors had “resolved to freeze the introduction of new models to the European market”. Despite the wording, though, the move is not a pause, but rather the start of a phased withdrawal.
