Bel Canto’s new REF-Stream audiophile grade streamer/music renderer, first shown at RMAF last year, is now available in Australia, for $3,200 (RRP). It’s an asynchronous networked media renderer that connects your networked audio to your DAC. Bel Canto says the REFStream works with third-party software (such as JRiver, PlugPLay, Twonky etc) to control audio media stored on a NAS or computer. In addition to the expected Ethernet input, the REFStream has ST Fibre, SPDIF and AES outputs.
