Airbus Helicopters have delivered two new H130s to Far North Queensland (FNQ) tourism operator, Nautilus Aviation. Nautilus recently entered into a new tourism partnership with the Quicksilver Group, based in Port Douglas.
“As we have been successfully operating the H130s for a number of years now, the choice of new aircraft for the Quicksilver operation was an easy one to make," said Aaron Finn, CEO of Nautilus Aviation. "It’s the ideal helicopter for tourist operations, with the ability to carry seven passengers the H130 becomes a very economical platform to operate in a high volume operation.”
The aircraft boasts a minimal noise footprint which has become an industry benchmark, meeting the most restrictive noise limits defined for flights over national parks, animal reserves, and urban areas. The addition of the…
