Sir David Attenborough has been immensely inspirational to many with a love of the environment. I’d always been a fan, but the precise moment he became my total hero was in the Blue Planet 2 episode on coral reefs, when he made the world aware of every issue that we, in the scuba industry, had been struggling with for years.
In 1982 in Jamaica, I met a local environmental scientist and bird lover called Wendy Lee.
