On October 13, 2025, SpaceX successfully conducted its 11th Starship flight test, launching from Starbase, Texas, and completing a full mission profile that included engine reignition, payload deployment, and controlled splashdown maneuvers. The Super Heavy booster executed a stable water landing in the Gulf of Mexico before initiating a self-destruct command as designed, while the Starship upper stage descended to the Indian Ocean after deploying a set of test payloads.
