An electric version of the Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck will get an estimated 400 miles of range per charge, General Motors says. The company announced the range in a webcast this week and said the truck would be built at a factory straddling the border of Detroit and the enclave of Hamtramck. The information appears to be several years old, but it is another example of the vast amount of information collected by Facebook and other social media sites, and the limits to how secure that information is. The high court said Google did nothing wrong in copying code to develop the Android operating system now used on most smartphones.
