As this will be a continuing feature in Antique Trader, let me introduce myself to you. I retired five years ago after a 36-year career in corporate aviation. I’m a pilot, sailor, novelist, thrill-seeker, adventurer, photographer, and all-around hobbyist.
I’m also a junkaholic who likes anything cool and vintage, including signs, packaging, toys, cars, trucks, travel trailers, airplanes, trains, sailboats, and most types of mechanical contraptions. I’m on the road approximately 120 days every year in one of my two travel trailers, coursing the backroads of the United States in search of my next find. This column will feature those finds.
