For me, the desert was often neutral with subtle pops of color. While living there, I was drawn to traditionally desert tones of peach, pale yellow, sage green, tan, with pops of pink and purple inspired by the cactus blooms. I find the East Coast, and Maine in particular, to be lush and green. Here I find myself drawn to moodier and darker tones of bright blues, deep greens, browns, and gold.
