One of the things I love most about decorating a vintage Christmas is its timeless charm. It never goes out of style or looks dated—in fact, that’s the appeal of it! Collecting preloved holiday décor pieces brings the fun of the hunt along with daydreaming about who had the piece before it ended up with me. Envisioning the person who excitedly brought it home, displayed it proudly and lovingly cared for it gives me a warm feeling and I’m thankful to carry on the tradition. It’s wintertime at Fleurish Flower Farm—and when we say wintertime, we mean a South Dakota, below-zero temperatures, roads closed because of high snowdrifts kind of wintertime.
