Combine 2 (14.5-oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, 1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste, ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley, 1 tsp. minced fresh garlic, 1 tsp. dried oregano, 1 tsp. salt, and ¼ tsp. black pepper in a food processor or blender; process until smooth. Heat 6 Tbsp. olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add ⅓ cup finely chopped onion; cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 2 minutes. Add ½ cup dry white wine; use a wooden spoon to scrape up any browned bits from bottom of saucepan. Add tomato mixture. Bring to a boil over high heat; reduce heat to low.
