In particular, the relationship between Korea and Vietnam has achieved remarkable development over the past 30 years. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Vietnam in 1992, the economic cooperation built over the past 30 years holds significant strategic value for both countries. Particularly, Korean companies that have entered Vietnam have gone beyond merely establishing production bases, actively participating in mutual economic development through the construction of diverse infrastructure and the formation of close business networks. The trade volume between the two countries has increased 164 times since the establishment of diplomatic relations, reaching $80.7 billion in 2021, while mutual investments have grown 145 times to record $2.5 billion.
