AN ACQUISITION DOESN’T need to be the end of a company’s story. For experiential marketing agency Sparks, it was just the beginning.
In August 2023, multinational events firm Freeman announced it had purchased Philadelphia-based Sparks and its legacy business, dating back to 1919. At the time, Sparks already counted Amazon, Anheuser-Busch, Delta Air Lines, Google, Meta, Pfizer, and Salesforce among its clients, and had become a significant brand itself—working on 4,000 projects a year for 400 clients across 60 countries.
