McKinney enjoyed the best media year in its 54-year history despite losing its biggest client, Crocs, in 2022. Patel, who has been with the agency for nearly 11 years, has overseen a 400% revenue growth in the media business, which added new clients including Shoe Show, Ripple, Neighborly, PulteGroup, Nikon, Flagstar Bank and Tanger Outlets. This pivot was advanced by Patel’s work on the 2020 launch of McKinney’s in-house trade desk, Blackwell Trading Company (BTco), which works to provide seamless communication between media and trading teams, allowing for greater transparency.
