01 Create a base
On your new layer, use your downloaded brushes in one colour, such as orange to make an interesting base of some shapes, leaving some gaps and texture.
02 Locate blend modes
As well as layers, the Brush has blend modes too, which will take effect with each new brush stroke. They work the same way as the layers, with the same results.
03 Use Blend Modes
To create a blended, high detail effect, combine blend modes such as Colour Burn, Colour Dodge, Darken, Overlay and Soft Light and others at various opacity and colours.
