The Blender Foundation has been awarded $1.2 million in cash as part of the Epic MegaGrants program. Epic Games, developer of Unreal Engine, has bestowed the money to further the success of Blender, the free and open-source 3D creation suite that supports the full range of tools empowering artists to create 3D graphics, animation, visual effects or games.
