I know better than anyone that bullying isn’t something to be laughed about. Because it destroyed not only my childhood, but my daughter’s, too.
At school I was the quiet, studious type. However, my classmates saw this as something to mock me for. From sniggering in the corridor to pretending I was invisible, they were tireless in their efforts to grind me down and I became a complete recluse, leaving school at 16 with no friends.
