When the going gets tough, Queensland paramedics and best friends Alli, 26, Kyla, 32, and Tara, 31, turn to dance to help them cope with the challenges that come along with their demanding job. “We are constantly in a stressful environment where we often don’t know what the outcome will be,” Kyla says. “We don’t get to switch off very often so dancing is a form of self-care for us. We need helpful mechanisms otherwise we wouldn’t last in this industry,” Alli adds.
