In spring, the clifftop path is rich with wildflowers, especially thrift, which thrives in the salt air. Late summer, when the coastal heath is ablaze with heather and gorse, but its wild and dramatic at all times of year. Look up for birds of prey, including buzzards and kestrels, as well as Cornwall’s emblematic bird, the chough. And look out for seals, dolphins and basking sharks too.
