The Bowden family history starts back in the early 1920s when Frank Bowden began chalking up sales with some of the first Australian-built Fords at his sister’s dealership at Dalby in Queensland. After WWII, and with this sales experience behind him, he set up his own General Motors Holden sales centre. His first car, bought at the tender age of 12, was a 1932 model Ford, and, coming of age, he started to devote his spare time to racing hot rod Ford V8s. And the bug has never left the family!
