Alasia Moscato d’Asti, Piedmont, Italy 2018 (from £7.59; RannochScott.co.uk). Sweet and full of summery scents, the youthful Moscato d’Asti is barely wine at all: it’s just 5% alcohol, with gentle fizz and a sherbet-foamy sweetness. This one, the Alasia, is full of acacia flowers, apricot and gentle lemony freshness.
