In 2018, a science centre in Bristol called We The Curious started asking people who lived in the city what they were curious about. The museum collected more than 100,000 questions on all sorts of subjects, including slowing down time and wondering if the soul exists. We The Curious has used these questions to create an exhibition called Project What If, which opened in May this year and aims “to explore the human side of science”.
The questions are grouped into seven themes, called “constellations”, each illustrated by artwork and other exhibits. The themes are Illness, Invisibility, Rainbows, Sand, Soul, Time and Universe. They cover all sorts of things, including archaeology and robots, and feature segments such as “exploring the science of happiness” and “the beauty of our brains”.
