From 11 to 13 June, world leaders will come to Carbis Bay in Cornwall, England, for a meeting of the G7.
What is the G7?
The G7 is a group of seven of the richest and most powerful countries in the world – Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US. Every year they have a meeting (known as a summit) to discuss important issues. They are also joined by some leaders from the European Union (EU) – a group of 27 European countries that work and trade together.
Why are they in Cornwall?
This year, the UK is hosting the summit, and the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has chosen Carbis Bay as the venue. It will be the first in-person meeting of the G7 since the coronavirus…
