Scandinavian chefs cook up a storm
Teams of chefs from Denmark, Sweden and Norway have come first, second and third at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or competition in France. Kenneth Toft-Hansen, who works at a Danish restaurant, said it felt “amazing, amazing, amazing” to win the contest, often described as the Olympics of cooking, after a five-and-a-half-hour final. Despite hosting the event, France hasn’t appeared in the top three since 2013. They finished in sixth place this year.
