Cooler than the west-facing wall as it only receives sun in the morning.
Best for: early and midseason pears, apples, plums, red and white currants, gooseberries, summer raspberries, blackberries, tayberries
NORTH-FACING WALL
Cool and shady, this wall usually only receives a bit of sunshine in the early morning and late afternoon.
Best for: sour cherries, red and white currants, gooseberries, Japanese wineberries, loganberries…
