BE AWARE Two-factor authentication is designed to keep your online information safe, but scammers look for ways to get around it. Many two-factor authentication programs send a code you have to input to access your account. Scammers make calls claiming to be from your bank, saying there’s been fraudulent activity on your account. With a great sense of urgency, they ask you to share the code sent to your phone or email.
