Later, being a type 1 diabetic, I needed to check my insulin levels.
Seeing my blood sugars so high, a feeling of guilt crept over me.
I used my insulin pump which brought my levels down, but they shot up again like a yo-yo.
“This isn’t good,” I said to Nicholas.
