There must be something in the water this month. Something that makes things foldable, because in the space of just 24hrs Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 (both reviewed p29-32), Motorola revealed a new Razr, and perhaps best of all, Xiaomi removed the covers from the Mix Fold 2 – the world’s slimmest folding phone.
At just 5.4mm thick when open, and 11.2mm when closed, it’s noticeably skinnier than the Z Fold4. It’s no weakling, though – there’s a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, 12GB of RAM and a choice of 256GB, 512GB or 1TB of storage.
