Itumeleng Mafisa itumeleng.mafisa@inl.co.za THERE was a heavy police presence at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court yesterday as 10 men, arrested in connection with a planned cash-in-transit heist in Rosettenville, appeared in court.
During the court proceedings, the State held that some of the accused had unverified addresses, and there were questions about the legality of three of the accused who were from Zimbabwe, and one from Botswana.
Sihle Mazibuko, 35, Qaphela Ngubeni, 33, Menzi Shabalala, 47, Khulekani Nkosi, 36, Kitso Mnguni, 45, Phendula Mvubu, 44, Mike Ngwadi, 47, Hloniphani Dube, 40, Alex Matshebele, 40, and Andrew Tshobolo, 67, appeared briefly in the lower court.
