USING Hornady bullets and military brass just like the original Frontier Ammunition, it is initially available in eleven different loads and bullet weights in .223 Remington and 5.56mm NATO, but I'm sure other calibres will be added before too long. Hornady branched out and formed Frontier Ammunition in 1964. Frontier ammo was loaded to factory specifications with Hornady bullets. Based on military surplus once-fired .30-06 and 7.65 NATO (.308) brass, Hornady made .270 brass by necking down .30-06 and .243 Winchester from .308 cases. IN the six decades since it was introduced, the Savage 110 has been continuously modified and upgraded to reach an unusual degree of practicality and effectiveness in the new Model 110 Predator.
