LIKE many hunters before me, my passion for the sport was sparked on a farm, chasing rabbits and foxes. Over the years, my technique for hunting these animals was certain to change due to improvements in my level of marksmanship, and seasonal variations in the landscape. Several years of solid rain on the NSW South Coast resulted in very long grass and shots taken from the standing position. From shooting rabbits off a bi-pod, to stalking sleeping foxes, this is a recount of how hunting small game, has shaped the hunter I am today.
