I’ve just taken delivery of a Seeland Kraft kit – a jacket, trousers and cap – to test over the coming season. On first inspection, I’m impressed. The jacket and trousers are made out of a tough, textured, green material that feels like it’ll be waterproof, and the stress areas (knees, elbows and shoulders) are covered with a thicker and stronger brown material that feels like it’ll stand up to the punishment it’ll get on shoot days. One useful feature is the outside zip pocket, which is perfect for my phone. It’ll be easy to hear it ring and access it. The hand-warmer pockets are fleece lined and there are two drawstrings, one around the waist and one at the bottom of the jacket. These, along with the storm cuffs…
