French constructor, Ligier, has launched a new, carbon monocoque GT car built for endurance racing.
The JS2 RS meets with 2025 LMP3 static load tests and is powered by a Ford 3.5-litre, twin-turbo, EcoBoost V6 producing 650bhp. It features a Sadev SL90-20 Evo gearbox with sequential shifting, Öhlins TTX36 dampers and Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers. ABS is managed by Bosch, the ECU by MoTeC.
Ligier says it has worked hard to keep costs under control, while also increasing safety features for the non-professional drivers it hopes to serve. The JS2 RS costs €255,000 (approx. $296,500) plus taxes.
Simultaneously, Ligier has continued to develop the junior JS2 R, which has sold more than 120 units. It now sports a normally aspirated Ford 3.5-litre V6. Having both direct and port fuel…
