Staring at the two little lines, my heart raced.
‘Jamie, I’m pregnant,’ I said to my boyfriend.
We both stared at each other in utter disbelief, faces pale.
It was December 2015, and I was in my final year studying Sociology at De Montfort University, so it was a shock – although a happy one!
I immediately phoned my mum Jill, 48, and she was over the moon.
‘I’m worried about my studies, though,’ I confessed.
