For the year ending 31 December 2022, Kenya Airways recorded revenues of Ksh117bn (US$857.8m), a 66% increase from the previous 12 months. This comes in just 5% below pre-pandemic reported revenues, indicative of the group's projected recovery by 2024. The revenue growth was driven by a significant increase in passenger numbers, which grew by 68% to 3.7 million passengers, and more than 65,000 tonnes in cargo tonnage, a 3.5% increase.
