‘It’s about keeping an eye on the bigger picture. We want to stay together for love and for our children’ With busy careers and three children to bring up, it’s not easy for former Olympic champion rower James Cracknell and his wife, LBC radio presenter Beverley Turner, to spend time together. “Sometimes we’ll pass in the hallway as we’re taking our children in or out of the house and James will go, ‘See you in 2030, baby,’” laughs Beverley.
“It’s a constant balancing act,” she adds. “James won’t sit still, but I think we’re getting better at spending quality time together.”
To this end the family, which includes their son Croyde, 12, and daughters Kiki, six, and Trixie, four, recently took a two-centre mini-break, travelling from Helsinki to Tallinn.
