• You take more – or more often, or for longer – than directions recommend.
• You get withdrawal symptoms when you stop taking it: craving for the medication; changes in mood, weight, sleeping patterns…
• You have effects from overusing or mixing medications: lightheadedness, fatigue, muscle weakness, slurred speech, lack of coordination, blurred vision, dizziness, palpitations, difficulty thinking clearly, gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea.
