Ribble is known for having an expansive array of bikes, and while the Allroad SL R is another new model, it simultaneously consolidates several pre-existing ranges.
‘The Allroad range merges our CGR, Endurance and R872 ranges into one lineup,’ says Jamie Burrow, Ribble’s head of product. ‘It’s an evolution of where we think road bikes are going. Tyres are getting wider and riders are demanding more capable machines that can handle mixed-terrain adventures. It’s not a gravel bike, it’s a road bike. It’s comfortable, with big clearances and utility, but it’s fast and efficient too. It broadens the horizons on what you can do with a road bike, a concept we’re calling Road+.’
