After remaining unsolved for more than 30 years, police now believe a suspected serial killer may have committed the infamous Yoghurt Shop Murders in Texas in 1991.
The bodies of Amy Ayers, Eliza Thomas, and sisters Jennifer and Sarah Harbison were found bound, gagged and shot inside the burned remains of an ‘I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt’ store in Austin. At least one of the girls had been raped. Jennifer and Eliza, both 17, worked at the shop, and were joined by Amy, 13, and Sarah, 15, as they closed up for the evening and prepared to go home together.
