A recent survey by The Alcohol Education Trust has found a staggering one in seven women have had their drink spiked – and it’s increased by 108% in the past three years, with a quarter of spikings happening with nonalcoholic drinks. And now an alarming new trend has emerged whereby predators are feared to be injecting unsuspecting clubbers using needles filled with substances, which can cause blackouts.
