“THERE IS NO TYPICAL DAY AS I’M AWAY FOR EIGHT MONTHS EVERY YEAR. I wake up at about 6am and, no matter where I am, I go for a run. I’ve run in the Sahara Desert, Central America and car race tracks. I love the dramatic settings of a beach best.
AFTER MY RUN, IF I’M IN A TENT OR HAMMOCK, I WASH IN THE RIVER, BRUSH MY TEETH AND EAT WHATEVER IS AVAILABLE – USUALLY FRUIT. At home, I’ll eat breakfast with my family at 7am for half an hour. At 8am, I’ll walk our Labrador Storm. At the weekend, my wife Marina and Ludo, six, and Iona, four, will join us.
