After going part-time at my vet job a couple of months ago, I decided it was time to get myself another dog. I’d be around more and I knew my shar pei/Staffy cross Ally would like a pal. Serves: 4-6 Prep: 20 min Cook: 25 min 100g butter, softened 100g caster sugar 100g self-raising flour 50g cocoa powder, sieved 2 medium-sized eggs, beaten 425g can prunes, drained 25g muscovado sugar 170g can evaporated milk Icing sugar, to serve 1 Preheat oven to 180C/Gas 4. 2 Put butter, caster sugar and self-raising flour in a bowl with 25g sieved cocoa powder and eggs. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. 3 Stone and mash prunes, and add to mixture. Combine thoroughly.
