Bill Leeb: Modal Kollapse
As the mastermind behind bands such as Front Line Assembly, Delerium, Noise Unit, Intermix and Cyberaktif, Canadian Bill Leeb can look back on a rich body of work that has been growing steadily since the 80s. His current solo album sounds exactly as you would expect from Bill Leeb, not least because his vocals are unmistakable. Stylistically, it can be classified between Industrial, EBM and Post-Punk, ergo not too far from Front Line Assembly, but in direct comparison perhaps a little more melodic, atmospheric and (despite the electronic instrumentation) rockier.
