I plumped for the Alfa Romeo SZ because, well, if nothing else, wonât you just look at it? I was an impressionable teenager when it came out in 1989, adored it in reviews of the time. Fifteen years later, I almost kidded myself I should buy one when they were under ÂŁ20,000. Scared off it by stories of unobtainable body panels, I spent much less on a Ducati â right era, right colour, right country. Close enough, then, and as close as I ever got to an SZ.âŠ
