Renault Clio
Easy Link | Features: Wireless phone charging
THE latest Renault models use a brilliant Google-based infotainment system, so it’s a shame that the Clio’s mid-life updates didn’t introduce it here, because that would lift it miles ahead. Instead it continues with the previous Easy Link set-up, whose portrait screen layout is unusual for a supermini.
While it’s not as slick as Renault’s latest system, it still works fairly well, with simple menus, big on-screen keys, and reasonable loading times. The graphics are sharp both on the main screen and the digital driver’s display.
Standard kit included
LED headlights, 17-inch alloy wheels, tinted rear windows, front and rear parking sensors, heated front seats, wireless smartphone charging, 10-inch digital driver’s display, blind-spot warning.
