VOLVO is recalling 2.2 million cars globally and 169,481 in the UK due to a seatbelt fault. The issue concerns a cable that can wear and suffer fatigue, weakening the action of the belts.
Examples of the S60, S60 Cross Country, V60, V60 Cross Country, XC60 (above), V70, XC70 and S80 made from 2006 to 2018 are included in the recall, but it doesn’t affect any currentgeneration cars. Volvo apologised for the recall, adding the fault is “extremely rare,” and that no injuries or accidents had been linked to it.…
