SUBARU has announced that its new Levorg, which goes on sale next month, will come in only one spec, GT, priced from £27,495.
There will initially be only a single engine option, too – a new 1.6-litre DIT boxer turbo petrol, with 168bhp and 250Nm of torque. This claims 0-62mph in 8.9 seconds, nearly 40mpg fuel economy and 164g/km of CO2. However, the Legacy Tourer replacement is expected to get the Outback’s more efficient 2.0-litre boxer diesel eventually.
The Levorg has Active Torque Vectoring, auto LED headlamps and wipers, keyless go, heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control and a seven-inch touchscreen. It also gets Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection, which includes Blind-Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.…
